Parents are number one as their child's first and most important teacher. They are one of the most essential factors in the overall education of students. SMSD believes that academic success is accomplished through a collaborative effort with parents and the extended community.
Parents may contact any SMSD counselor, their child's teacher or principal, an SMSD librarian, or Terry Loudenburg for opportunities to become an active participant in the educational success of their child and of SMSD.
