Meet the Library Staff

Primary classes visit the library during bi-weekly scheduled circulation times for library lessons and to experience the enjoyment of a library setting.  Library lessons support the classroom curriculum and strive to nurture enjoyment and appreciation for literature.  In addition, the Accelerated Reading program is supported by the Stafford Primary School Library. 

The enhancement of research and problem-solving skills, another area of emphasis in the library, is supported by the library's research computers.  These research computers are equipped with the latest online encyclopedias as well as other educational multimedia programs.  Online catalogs enable students to obtain information and locate available resources in the library.

The Stafford Library is open on school days to students and staff 8:00am - 3:15pm.

SMSD Librarians encourage students to enjoy reading throughout the year - and especially during the summer.  Remember, Summer Reading Lists don't expire - they're good anytime!
