Kim Vu, Principal

Welcome to our school!  I am honored to serve as principal of Stafford Primary School.  I’ve started my teaching career in the primary grades teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1^st grade, and after many years of service at various grade levels from elementary to many years at the middle school level, I feel that I have come home.  “Setting high standards for our students to cultivate excellence in the classroom and beyond…” is my personal motto and the motto of SMSD.   I am committed to providing our students a positive academic foundation in a safe and nurturing environment.   Please come by and visit us, or feel free to contact us at any time.

THE PRINCIPAL’S READING CHALLENGE

Mrs. Vu encourages all her students to read, read, read!  Therefore, she challenges Stafford Primary School students to reach the school-wide goal for Accelerated Reader.  If the students reach the goal set by Mrs. Vu, Mrs. Vu will kiss Porky the Pig ! (yes! a real pig!)  

OTHER ACCELERATED READER GOALS

Individual Goals- Ten students with the top ten highest points will each get a T-shirt. Top 5 students will get additional prizes!

5. $15 gift card to Barnes & Nobles

Classroom Goal – The classroom with the highest AR points will be rewarded with a field trip to an ice cream store.   The winning class will vote for the ice cream store of their choice for the field trip -- Baskin Robins, Marble Slab, Ben & Jerry’s, or Coldstone .
