Meet the Library Staff

Elementary classes visit the library during weekly scheduled circulation times for library lessons and to experience the enjoyment of a library setting.  Library lessons support the classroom curriculum and strive to nurture enjoyment and appreciation for literature.  In addition, the Accelerated Reading program is supported by the Stafford Primary and Elementary School Library. 

The enhancement of research and problem-solving skills, another area of emphasis in the library, is supported by the library's research computers.  These research computers are equipped with the latest online encyclopedias as well as other educational multimedia programs.  Online catalogs enable students to obtain information and locate available resources in the library.

The Stafford Library is open on school days to students and staff 8:00am - 3:15pm.

SMSD encourages students to enjoy reading throughout the year - and especially during the summer.  Remember, Summer Reading Lists don't expire - they're good anytime!
