Stafford Elementary School
Counselor’s Corner
Mrs. Carmen Clayton Guidance Counselor

As an elementary counselor, my primary objective is to assist students in reaching their potential to become effective learners. My goal is to complement the learning environment in the classroom by using a child-centered, preventative, and developmental approach.
A School Counselor is someone who is there to listen. A counselor tells the truth and keeps it quiet. Students, when you are worried and cannot really talk about it, I can help you. You can even visit me when you have some great news to share!
At Stafford Elementary School we use the PRIDE Guidance and Counseling Curriculum.
