Greetings from Principal,

I want to personally welcome you to the elementary school’s webpage.  It is my hope that you will find this information useful and helpful.  My name is Walt Fenn and I am excited and honored to be working with you as your new Stafford Elementary School Principal.  I have had the pleasure of meeting some of our wonderful parents and community members and I look forward to working with all of you as we do whatever it takes to help our youth be successful in school.  My philosophy about education is threefold.  I believe in Rigor, Relevance and Relationships.  When we have these three “R’s” we get the fourth “R” which is Results.  Schoolwork should be interesting, challenging and satisfying to our students.  Learning should make sense.  It is our job (yours and ours together) to make sure students understand that what is being taught is important for them to learn.  Furthermore, students really don’t care how much we know until they know how much we care.  At Stafford Elementary School we are committed to providing a world class education to each and every student in a safe and caring environment.  Thank you for choosing to place your trust and enroll your children in Stafford Elementary School.  It is an honor and a privilege for us to be of service to you and your children.  My door is always open to you.  Please stop by and say hello and let us know what we are doing right and how we can do better.  We are here to serve.
